Tobacco Advertising
Major cigarette companies spend about $9.5 billion a year to
market their products in neighborhood stores.

As a result, tobacco ads clutter local stores and bodegas, turning
them into tools of the tobacco industry.

75% of teenagers shop at corner stores at least once a week
and are regularly exposed to tobacco ads.

Studies show that kids are 3x more sensitive to tobacco
advertising than adults...kids are also more likely to initiate smoking
as a result of exposure to tobacco advertising as opposed to peer
   pressure.

As a result of POP tobacco advertising, tobacco companies are
getting richer and our youth are getting hooked on a
   deadly product.
